Here they are under the #betula-jacquemontii at dusk yesterday. You can’t really see the black mondo grass in this photo but it’s there, I promise @pelly
I can just picture it though. The setting is beautiful Jacqueline 😍😍😍
Stunning 🤩
Wow
It’s the view from the footpath so I don’t often see it 🙄😂 @pelly
Thank you Sue 😊 @suerichards
😊 @charlotte
That’s lovely Jacqueline 😊 they look really good there
Thanks Rich 😊 @richard.spicer.7906
Beautiful!
Perfect placement! And what a gorgeous pic 🤍
What a wonderful sight Jacqui!

I also uncovered these. I love the #combo of #galanthus and #ophiopogon 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤
Fab together! 🤍🖤💚
So beautiful 😍
A match made in Heaven Jacqueline, this is what I've done in a couple of places. I've also got a clump next to a cyclamen, the white shows up the silver veining in the foliage. I'll post a pic 💚💚💚
Thanks Rachel. I don’t have many good combos but I love this one @rachelbrooks
Thank you Shona. I’m glad you like it 😊 @sho47
They are a great combo aren’t they Jane. I have them under the silver birches too 😍 @pelly
Accidental combos are the best....💚🤍🖤😉
...and the ones I try to create never usually work 🤷♀️ @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
🖤🤍💚😍

Good morning from a decidedly damp and foggy Kendal. First snow drop of the year. Spotted as we left Wasdale. 💚🤍 #signsoflife
How lovely, can’t wait to see mine. I was looking at a holiday cottage in Wasdale yesterday 😍👍🤍
Me too 😍 Wasdale is wonderful Jane. It is my favourite valley, so beautiful and dramatic, and relatively quiet. @pelly

6 Feb 2019 • Just love this combination. #snowdrops #blackmondograss 🖤💚🖤
Mm very nice Jacqui.
Ooh yes, they look lovely together 😍
Gorgeous, I’ll have to remember this combo Jacqueline 💚🖤
Oh yes..👌🏼
Thanks Val 😊 @valjones-hughes
They really do don’t they Sarah 👍@sieveheadsarah
Thanks Elaine 😊@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
Definitely one for the noddle Elsie 🤔😉😂 @auricula
I really like it and once the snowdrops have flowered they are so good at just disappearing 👏👏 @pelly
So beautiful 😍@awomanonabike
Thanks Shona 😊@sho47

5 April 2018 • Good morning all. The last of the snowdrops until next year but boy, have they lasted a long time. Some good things come from a long winter...🤔
Morning Jacqueline, ah well on to the tulips 🌷👍
Morning Julie. Yes, I have one that is just beginning to show some colour...
Hi Jason, sorry to hear that. I wonder what got them 🤔 They will look lovely in pots though 💚 @Jasonsparkes1
Definitely need pots then! Good luck with your house hunt 🏡 @Jasonsparkes1
Morning Jacqueline 👍👍
It’s sad to see them go, but boy it’s been good to see them amongst some of the weather we’ve had this winter
It is sad but I don’t remember ever having them around for so long @richard.spicer.7906

18 February 2018 • On a brighter note, the snowdrops and #blackmondograss are thickening up nicely 😊
They look fab Jacqueline amongst that grass 👌🏼 good contrast
Thanks Rich. I’m really pleased with how it’s turning out. There’s loads of aquilegia in there too but no sign of them yet... @richard.spicer.7906
Thanks Jason. I was going to add, it’s a really easy one too, but not if you’re having problems keeping the mondo alive. 🤔 I wonder why...🤷♀️ @Jasonsparkes1
Stunning
Thank you Badr 😊 @badrideen
I can’t think. It seems pretty indestructible though have just looked it up and it prefers slightly acid soil. Maybe it’s too chalky? @Jasonsparkes1
Beautiful. Lovely combination
Thanks Rachel 😊 @rachelbrooks
Fun childhood but not good for the mondo 😉😂 @Jasonsparkes1
Hope it thrives, then maybe she’ll give you a bit 🤔👍😂 @Jasonsparkes1
That's a beautiful sight 😍😍

21 January 2018 • My first snowdrops ❄️🌿❄️
Congratulations....👌🏼😉
Ooo how pretty and you have snow ⛄️
Thanks Elaine, they always mark the turn of the year don’t they @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom
We did Vanessa but it’s raining now 😩 @nessas
They are gorgeous aren’t they Laura. And yes snow, briefly... It’s virtually all gone already @columbiariver
👍 It’s often like this. The snow comes, we get excited but before we can enjoy it, it has gone again and we are left with icy slush 😢 @columbiariver
Nope! And it hasn’t been cold enough to skate for years either 😢 @columbiariver
Lovely sight 😍😍
One of my favourites 💚 @pelly
Mine too. 😍😍
Oh bummer that happened here to 😢😢

I love the way snowdrops pierce the leaves overlying them on their way up!
#galanthus #snowdrop
I even spotted a tiny little primula flower yesterday! @gjones #springiscoming
Thanks Kari, I always forget about #tags! @KariSamuel
I live tagging, so no big deal!!
Beautiful shot not easy to get to there level 😉❤️
Thanks Pauline, but it's easy when they are in a raised bed! 😉 @pauline33
😊👍
Love them 💕🌿
Me too! @plants

Did a bit of clearing up & found my first snow drop 🌱❄️🌱
Oh how exciting Jacqueline. 😊😊. @awomanonabike
I know, it really is isn't it Jane?! I don't like to tidy up too much in the winter but I love it when I find the snowdrops. #springiscoming @pelly
Ooh lovely! 👏🏼 no sign of mine...
Maybe they're hiding too @rachelbrooks
#snowdrop #newgrowth #firstoftheseason
Every spring this little corner of the garden catches me by surprise 🤩 #snowdrop #betula-jacquemontii #ophiopogon-planiscapus
Spring Heaven 💚🤍
So very pretty, Jacqueline 🥰
Just so pretty Jacqueline 🤍🤍💚
Just stunning! I now have tree envy, and I didn’t even know it was a thing!? 😉
Beautiful 🤍🤍🤍🤍
Oh how beautiful Jacqueline 😯👌
What a lovely description Elise 😊 @auric
Thank you Barbara and Julie. The trees are up on a bank so you actually get to see the snowdrops at eye level, which I love @jacaranda @juliesgarden
😂 Oh I’m sure it’s a thing! They don’t take up much space and you can plant them even closer together than I have… 🤔 @carolecuttingitfine
Thank you both 😊@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom @flof1952
Wow that’s very special- the white bark and the white snowdrops what more can you want?! 🤩
