First half a dozen back from previous years - I leave them in and hope for the best ….🤞🏼

Good to see Christine. I can’t be bothered to dig up and replant, so this year I will be leaving my dahlia in the ground overwinter. It’s in a fairly sheltered spot, so hoping to replicate your success…I’m all for easy gardening! 😉🤞

@kathy no idea - I’ve had a striped rose revert to a plain colour in the past but a first for dahlias both a few years old and left in the ground every winter 😳

@gjones I looked it up and often happens it seems various reasons given. 🙄

I do like dahlias. So glad I got my clearance one yesterday. Shame they are so temperamental in winter though!

Hi Alison @bluefox I leave mine where they are during the winter and have been lucky most reappear - most are about 5 years old prob lose about one each winter but very cheap at our garden centre so buy a couple of new ones each year.

@midnightgardener Gizzy was a year old when we got her and had been named Gizmo - it sounded a bit boyish so she became Gizzy - some times Giz which can get confusing as one of my daughters is Liz 🙄🤣

@grandmagizzy 😊😊I think Gizzy is a fitting name for a sweet old lady dog. My dog gets Millie or Mills. First dog too, she's a birl girl now and so happy! She loves people and her 3 cat family. She's good with other dogs too but sjre
