So very pretty!💗💗💗💘😍
Love this beauty. Pretty in pink. 💗💗
Lovely 😊
@ShelleySnyder @hkyfvr @vegandmore @gjones thanks ladies 💕 it’s a mass of pink blooms this year but I do miss the blue colour it started out as 😜
Very welcome. I guess the soil made it change colour. My endless summer hydrangea did not flower at all this summer. It is one that flowers on both old wood and from the crown. I must have over pruned it last year. No pruning this year. The foliage looks good though. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
Very welcome Kerry 💘😍
@hkyfvr think so. I never use acidic soil but probably should 😜 oh no, that’s such a shame 😞 some hydrangeas I find difficult to time right when pruning. Leaving it a year is a good idea, especially with lots of good growth 😁
My soil is very alkaline. I think this hydrangea will come back even more beautiful next year. I saw a video where an expert said this particular one (summer crush) is the most reliable bloomer of the macrophyll mop head hydrangeas. Mine broke the rule I guess. 🤔🤦♀️🤷♀️
@hkyfvr sounds like you got a good one! Maybe it’s just had a tough winter and building up for a flower explosion next year 😁
I sure hope so. 💗💗

Lots of flower heads this year 💖 #hydrangea
Yes mine have loads too, must be a good year for them.
Mine is the same, Deborah @DeborahBanks must be right 💗💗💗
So pretty 💗
Sooo pretty!😍
@DeborahBanks @pelly mine too. And even ones that haven’t flowered for a couple of years have buds! Must have liked all that rain a while back 😛
@hkyfvr @italydiva thank you both 😁 every year I still hope it’ll be blue like it started out 😜 but it’s a pretty one no matter the colour 😍
Always welcome. I love this colour. If you make the soil more acidic it may turn blue again. 🤷♀️
@hkyfvr I think you’re right, might have to try that next year 😛

Looking very different from last year 💙-💗 #hydrangea
Pink perfection. Looks so pretty 💗💚
@hkyfvr thanks Diane ☺️ was the prettiest blue last year so wasn’t expecting pink 😜
Very welcome Kerry. It is the same colour as mine. I have heard that some do change colour. Either that or everything is coming up pink this year. 🤣😁🌸💕💗
@hkyfvr plant twins 💗💗 I know some can change depending on soil acidity so I wonder if the soil has changed because of all the rain 🤔
That sounds possible. Maybe the acid in the rain. Pink is taking over the garden it seems. 🤣🤣💗💕🌸
@hkyfvr it’s a good thing you like pink 😛💗
How did you guess? Pinkness overload is my theme in the garden. 🌸💗💕🤣🤣 @kez001uk
@hkyfvr there might be a subtle hint in your flowers 😉🤣🤣 there are so many shades of pink, and pink goes with everything 😛
Not so subtle I am afraid. 🤣🤣💗💕 @kez001uk
@hkyfvr 🤣😂

Absolutely beautiful coloring Kerry!! So innocent 👼🏼
Very nice Kerry its a beauty
@jmlincoln thanks Jackie ☺️ I love that description 🥰
@gjones the colours are adorable aren’t they 😍 it’s starting to darken already, some flowers are a real deep blue now. But was only given it a week ago so not quite sure how it’ll end up and there was no variety on the pot so will be a nice surprise to see how it progresses 😁
@alan1111 thank you Alan 😊 a gift from my sister - she knows me and my love of blue flowers well 😛
She knows you and loves you well alright 😁
@alan1111 she’s a goodun 🥰
More flower than plant 😂 #hydrangea
Stunning plant. I am so jealous. Mine is all foliage and no flowers. Love yours 🥰
Lovely 😊
Looks fabulous 😍. I'd also like to know what your secret is, your plants always look so healthy!
Fabulous & lush too. Even up here mine are looking a bit frazzled.
@hkyfvr thanks Diane 😃 it does seem happy in the shade of the rhododendron. Hopefully yours is storing energy for an abundance of flowers next year 😁
@gjones @vegandmore thanks ladies 😄 thought it had stopped flowering and then it kicked off again 😜 quite like the mix of old & new blooms 😋
@KOutdoors @lilybee thank you both 😁 I wish I knew what’s made it do so well so I could try it with a couple that didn’t bother to flower at all 😂 it’s in pretty much full shade and I left it until mid-May before pruning it. Other than that they’re just left to do what they do 😜
@jeatacake don’t zoom in or you’ll see the frazzled leaves on this one 🙈😂 the warm wind seems to have done the most damage. Dries them out so much faster 😞
Very welcome Kerry. Mine is near my rhododendron too. I am sure it will bloom well next year as long as I do not prune it. 😁🤞🤞
@hkyfvr great minds 😉 it’s hard to resist cutting them back but even harder to remember which ones flower on old wood 🤦🏻♀️
I know. It always confuses me. A hydrangea expert I was watching said the one I have is one of the best bloomers. It blooms both on old wood and from the crown. 🤷♀️ Who knows 🤪
