Morning everyone! I really love the colours on this cosmos. Off to Leeds for 2 days for work, so yesterday saw some furious deadheading to keep things going until I’m back! Have a great day everyone! #fromseed

It was from the rhs seedlist, so it is supposed to be solely bipinnatus. All the others are either white, pink or red. Maybe a cultivated seed snuck in. @jpea

I didn’t get a single flower on mine from seed this year! In fact, they only grew to about 4” 😤😤😤

That’s really bad luck! I find that there is always 1-2 that don’t flower but this seems like a really bad year for you. @itstillhelen

Morning everyone! Love the way the sun shines though the #cosmos petals and the shadows they cause. 💕☀️ Today I’m going to enjoy sitting indoors watching the much needed rain. Plus I brought 2 new #thalictrum yesterday at #newbyhallandgardens 😉

I’m squeezing them in wherever I can really but trying to still find an area of the garden that suits them. Some like full sun but others prefer partial shade. The problem this summer has been keeping them moist! @flof1952

Thanks Jane, I've had a few dud years with them in the past, for me, if I can get them through the initial snail attacks then it's ok. Having said that, I'm not sure how they survived the recent winds! @pelly
