Love Wisteria. Did it flower this year? Welcome to GardenTags and I look forward to seeing more of your pics soon 👋☺️
Hasnt flowered apart from first bought??😕
How long have you had it? Usually love a south facing position in full sun and phosphorus soil. Try adding a phosphate fertiliser. Do you prune it? It usually likes to be pruned twice a year... Once in winter and once in summer (usually about 6-8 weeks after flowering). Try cutting the season’s current shoots back to within three buds from the base if you havent already. These buds will then bear the coming season’s new shoots and flowers. Hope this helps and good luck! 👍
Aw was told to only cut it back in february. Thanks justin☺️
You're welcome 😃 hope it works. They can be tricky so good luck!
My wisteria is growing through my cherry tree, had it about 8/9 yrs & first time its flowered this year, beautiful. & according to monty don u dont really have to prune just feed, thank god, because i wont be climbing up my tree lol
Please tell me im doing this right?
Using the App or growing the Wisteria?! Both look pretty good to me Sheila! If you click the Wisteria link above the inage you should see more info about the plant in the encyclopedia. And you should see care instructions in your "tasks" if there are any for the Wisteria at this time of year. Welcome to GardenTags!
