You’ll get more basil if you pick the flower heads off or harvest the top growth as it encourages lateral shoots.

@brightcolours thanks for that! I do know but I’ve been eager to see it flower and collect the seeds to sow again in spring. I’ve got enough basil to supply the street for now 😋

Lucky neighbours!! You can freeze pesto. Or store it in jars covered with olive oil.

Looks good. But you’ve got five(?) plants in there? I’d transplant 3, or even 4, of them so they all have room to grow. Also pinch out the growing tips = more basil.
