Clematis 'Warsaw Nike'

I think I need this clematis next year 💜💜 I bought Aotearoa to go with common passionflower but the flowers are the wrong colour. I was hoping for rich purply pink like the colour on this photo but Aotearoa turned out to be dark velvety purple. Very gothic 😅😅

@ublaszko It was a Morrisons £1.76 special, left it in the pot to get a bit bigger so it wouldn’t get eaten by slugs and it’s really lovely now 💜🌸

@acermad I bought a Clematis Montana from Morrisons a couple of weeks ago. I put it in a bigger pot but was wondering at what point should I plant it in the border? #advice please. Thanks ☺

I got mine from Mozzers as well and it did well but not the right colour. Will get another one in the spring 💜

@anges I would leave it in the pot until it’s put on a bit of growth, maybe leave it until next year, I’ve lost a couple because they were too small 🤞
