Hey Katie!😊 I'll post a pic to show u what I'm using. I also mix sand in this and my soil. If you have plants u may bring indoors,I place a thin layer on top after I'm done peeping pots to help keep NATS or FRUIT FLYS out of soil. Ppl have different names of them...hehe! 😉 😊 @ktemory

What do you mean putting a thin layer after your done " peeping" pots. I have a lot of nats in my outdoor annual pot. What would cause this?

Katie @ktemory ,lol! I do need to do spell ck,I meant potting pots. The Nats come from moisture and they breed in it whether from rain or watering. The sand mixing into soil and on top smuthers thems. They can't get into the air pockets of your soil to do damage,breed,multiply or cause us irritation indoors or out.
