@Acetaker that's so pretty! But I can't remember lol!! The pinecone ginger I have looks so similar to that foliage, but completely different blooms. Amazing.

@pretty_paws_29​ Girl,I've been waiting to add it to my garden too..lol! I saw one other like mine on here and @vec has a red-orange bloom. I bet that one is pretty!

Yes @cyndi they make more by rhimozomes roots. I thought I had lost it last yr. When I found it was mush,all but one little place the size of a quarter or it would of been 4 times this size. It took alot of talking to get her to grow.. hehe❣️😍 I'll look at it in the Fall and see if I can get u a piece of the root,if not definitely next Summer 😀😍😎

Shelley,Look at the pic from last yr. It grows on a stalk,kind like corn,and has white blooms,mine never bloomed, that smell almost like jasmine. This is a baby that I was,able to save from my move last yr. @ShelleySnyder

That's about the size of my "red ginger" cutting I should of gotten a few cuttings but hope this one takes. I never seen blooms like it's gives but there's many we haven't seen@terrimclaughlin

@mhomewood6 no this isn't a herb. It's a flowering cane type plant,with fragrant jasmine

Help me identify this plant,plz. It was given to me by my neighbor. I know it grows in bunches,pulls right out of the ground easily,and blooms #whiteflowers ,she says is jasmine??? I am stumped....😕 #fragrant #hedychium

I wonder if it could be Hedychium coronarium? Apparently sometimes called Cinnamon Jasmine.

@tiggrx when my neighbor gave it to me she said it had white flowers that bloomed late summer

Also smelling like jasmine,but could not find this plant anywhere to confirm....😊

The white flowers would fit, I'm not sure when it flowers in your part of the world
