I was #cutting back Mommas #rosebush and decided that I'd love to see the large #redbloom out in the backyard. I took a #corecutting(middle section) trimmed it all up and placed it in the ground. It's protected from north winds and #mulchedforwinter #memorial #rose #sharonsglow

@nancyanne my rose bushes have struggles with the foliage turning yellow,spots etc. It's been so wet at times they just couldn't get past it and then aphids love all of that. I'm getting ready to cut them back and harvest the last blooms. Alabama has weird weather,so if they grow a bit and bloom again I might get to see the colorful foliage they have,instead of the stem being naked all the time..lol!

Yes, @Terrimclaughlin these will bloom til 1st frost. But usually about Latest of Summer to Early Fall I trim all bushes, flowers etc BK. For the next growing season.

@lovestogarden it's okay! I lost her to breast cancer in 2004,but the moment in time seems as yesterday. 😇😊
