Succulents got me into plants and now I'm obsessed with anything i find pretty and/or exotic but especially Australian natives :)

These seeds are going great, however i was going to ask for #advice , all my other seedlings of other species that did pop up have died, i think i overwatered them. Wondering if anyone could help with how much to water #oznative seeds/seedlings? How do i know if soil is too wet since it looks almost dried on the top when i mist it (til it looks wet again, which only lasts 4 hours or so anyway til it starts to look dry) ive killed about 6 common ice plant seedlings :p

If they have germinated don't mist as they will die of fungal diseases, only water from below by sitting in a tray of water until it gets soaked up from below

@Addict try saturating the soil before planting the seed so there is less chance of drying out during germination. Have not tried raising natives from seed, except the Helichrysm Paper Daisies which self seed in very warm/hot, dry conditions. @brightcolours

Planted a few of my easier-to-germinate species about 5 or 6 days ago, so far my #everlasting #seeds are the first to sprout :) this is 2 of 4 #oznative

I was given a ton of straw flower seeds from a friend. You’re more than welcome to some.
