@spyder1980 Here's the first 'Night Owl' that's opened (since you asked about it a little while ago) 🙂

Its on the ground😆

@spyder1980 Yeah I know, lol 😂 some of them were stunted by the late snow we got here!

It is funny even funnier when I tell you my white and purple is over 2' and still no flower.😅😅

What color is your bearded. Never seen night owl

@spyder1980 This one is really dark purple, almost black, with a purple-red color toward the center... I'll make sure to post some more photos ☺️

Can't wait😉. Mine should start to show signs of flowering soon. They are light purple and white.👌

@spyder1980 I have another iris species which is lighter purple & white, as well... unfortunately never knew their name though 🤔

Likely the same.

Well find out soon
I cannot wait to see the blooms from this!!
I have a bunch of these in am old garden I'm getting ready to redo. I'm new to gardening. Can these be transplanted? When is the best time?
They can actually be transplanted pretty easily since they grow from bulbs. They should be flowering soon (mid-late spring) so I'd recommend waiting until afterward to move them, otherwise they may not bloom this year. Aside from that, any time between now and fall should be fine for transplanting. I usually cut the plants down to near ground level first; they'll grow back next year and it's much easier to dig up and move the bulbs to a new location without the full plant attached 🙂 @sebrown
Thank you!!
No problem 😊 @sebrown
