Another one of my bigger plants is this calathea. They are not as sensitive as I thought but I learned that the soil plays a big factor in the common curling and yellowing of calathea leaves. Since it grew wild in a gardeners plot, the soil it came with was almost clay in consistency - I had to wash it off as it hardened like stone when dry and compact and replaced it with free draining and moisture retaining medium. Itβs still alive w/ few leaves lost so I guess it worked!
