These are flowers from the dwarf Ylang ylang tree in our garden. My mother usually picks it to place at our altar for Mother Mary. I love the scent. There is a towering Ylang ylang tree along our street and the scent of the flowers become even more pervasive during the warmer seasons, my dwarf one gives but a lingering scent.
