First of my lilies to have buds

Oh I like these strange little flowers 😛

Their so different to other lilies. The petals short and stiff. I've so many lilies this year even though I've only a few verities. They keep on multiplying. I'll have to give start giving them away or I'll be overrun with them 😆 @kez001uk

@alan1111 I have one that has similar foliage. So different to any other lilies 😛 a garden full of them could be very beautiful 😍 but at least if you give some away you’ll have less lily beetles 😉😅

Do you know the name so I can look it up. If I don't give the away in a few years I'll have no room for anything else. Only a garden full of lilies. I've only seen one lily beetle so far 🤞that's all I see. Have you had any @kez001uk

@alan1111 it’s called Easy Samba. You’re so lucky to have only found one! I’ve had a few but they’ve not done much damage yet. Have been spraying them with Grazers which is a natural repellent apparently. Seems to be effective at the moment 🤞🏻

Easy samba, nice! a very bold stricking colour combination. Just keep an eye on the foliage in case there's any eggs laid. Watch out for signs of the grubs and remove infected leaves. Good luck
