That moment when you pull a flower stalk off your plant thinking it's a bug... Whoops. Luckily there's another 2/3 coming up
Yes I worry too when that first flower emerges. Looks like a giant mealy!
It got me @alovealoe grabbed it with my needle nose tweezers ha. Never mind! Not like haworthia flowers are all that impressive i guess
Haworthia flowers are all exactly the same aren't they ....its weird
@Muzz67 yeah it is really odd. Although i suppose aloe have very similar to themselves and pachyphytum etc.
True true

For anyone who wants a succulent but finds when to water them difficult (me!) This is probably my favourite for very easily knowing when. Squeeze the leaf, if it feels rock solid and turgid then it's fine, when it starts to have a bit of give to it then drench the pot and leave it until next time. Once a month that tends to be for this guy but you can leave it months and it will still be alive no problem
Thanks @marlynroses I think it's one of my favourites. Just very low maintenance and it can handle full direct sun one day and semi shade another and it doesn't mind
@marlynroses mine has improved a lot since I bought it. Was quite dehydrated. Can see in one of those videos I sent you (the first one I made with the propagation)
Have you got a photo of yours @marlynroses on your profile?
Haha thanks @marlynroses It's northern England but a little on the posh side ... :/ Looking forward to your video of your plant collection! ;)
@Muzz67 do you think this could be a cuspidata?
Lol do you know what Alex I have been so confused over the last few days about the difference between cuspidata and cymbifomis as I helped someone id one on gt and then questioned my own plants id lol.Ive left mine as cuspidata for now but yours looks like mine doesn't it 😆
@Muzz67 I was told by the seller mine was a cymbaformis but they could be wrong? Ah well
Leave the id for now ..I don't know I might put a pic on Haworthia Australia and ask them to id mine 😆
Please do @Muzz67
Id came from Haworthia page Mine is definately Cuspidata 😆
Could you take my photo and submit it? I think mine looks a little different but I may be wrong

I have a bit of an obsession with photographing this plant when the sun is out (very rare in the UK) Doesn't show too well in this photo but it almost glows

Very @gjones It lets you know when it needs water as the leaves go from being rock solid plump to a little squishy then I just soak it and leave it until next time. It's thriving :)
It can handle a wide range of lighting too being a haworthia and it offsets like mad
I have a lovely haworthia myself, love the light shining through the tips
You should share a photo @amypryer
