He doesn't seem to be doing better, and when I came outside to check on him (it was sunny today) one of his leaves had snapped off, is there anything I could do to help him? #helpme

A new plant can start from the leaf. Maybe place inside in a small container of sand and just leave it. I have a couple sprouting roots from the broken end

Alexander seems to be doing better! I put him outside some today! But it was going to rain soon so I brought him back in, Could lamps work to give him the sunlight he needs?

Yes, a grow or full spectrum light will help indoors. My house is dark and I am having to set up a "plant room" for the winter

This is Alexander! I was given him, as a birthday gift! And since I'm not sure what kind of succulent he is, I'm not quite sure how to take care of him! And I want to do my best to keep him alive and well! Thank you so much if you can help me identify him!

Alexander and Dar, I am unsure myself, but Jacqui, may have it. If it is new, the color may be not it's normal because of it's green house growing. You may need to recheck it after awhile Alexander. @SikoMa @Muzz67
