Help me identify this plant. At first I thought it was senna, but I don’t know if it grows in ctrl PA, but it also has thorns! So I have no clue, ( thinking a weed)
@alisons50 -- wild senna is definitely native to your area, from New England throughout the Midwest, and it's definitely thorntastic. To be sure it's senna, though, you have to eat some and note any laxative effects 😁
@jmlincoln I’ll look both up as soon as I get my new battery for the laptop, but it could be that as well, this is behind our office next to my sister in law who was just complaining about the tree with the thorns that she was trying to clean up!! Lol lol
The owner before us chopped down the black locust but didn't properly kill it. So the tree is gone but it sends shoots from under ground and it comes up everywhere! And yes, full of nasty thorns! Looks scary in the winter lol

Yeah. Bet me!! What’s your address emch??
Looks like #blacklocust 🙈 I highly recommend getting rid of it as it's highly invasive
