She’s starting to bloom. You can see some yellow blooms popping thru.

And this is the trunk. Thorns in the branches. You know. Cute and cuddly here in the desert.

This tree is practising social distancing.

I would say so lol @novicegardenlover it’s working.

Toothpicks for sure @exotic_earth_child When we cut it to tame it, we had so any knicks and cuts. It was ridiculous. Now we keep it short, so we don’t walk into the thorns again.

This is my accidental tree. Been growing since probably 2012. A year after we moved in. It’s got spikes like crazy, but it smells so good and is so pretty when she blooms. 🤗
