I used to be the place plants came to die...Now I'm hoping to change that, & be the house where plants grow & thrive! #succulentobsessed

Echeveria Chroma stem (on the right) we cut off and put in the soil 2 weeks ago (photo taken today though) . It's still standing strong, has most of its color, not wilting, leaves are still on the stem. But I dont how much I should water it or how to tell if it has roots or if it's doing anything lol #succulentnewbie #succulents

So my echeveria Chroma is growing so tall! Ive already cut off one of the "branches", let it dry out, and stuck it in a pot, but i checked it about 2 weeks later and still no roots, so I'm afraid to cut this one off. Should I just leave it? #succulents #decisions #echeveria @alovealoe @succulentsplants

Yes. Some Succulents can take quite a while to root. As long as it is happy, it will root when it can.
