Our echeveria shatter needed its own pot too, all of the succulents from the old arrangement grew way faster than we expected, so we separated them and gave them their own pots. Now if the rain would go away so they can get some outside loving #echeveria #echeveria-difracten #akashatteringecheveria

#help I have an echeveria difracten and it gets plenty of direct morning sun, but it still seems to be stretching up. Before the leaves laid flat and now they are pointed up. Im under the impression this is a sign they aren't getting enough sun but they get a good 4-5 hours of direct morning sunlight and then the rest of the day they do sit in the hot humid Alabama shade.
But as you can see, it also has some burn spots on it from when we first got it and it got too much sun and we put water on the leaves (oops) . So does it need more sun? Is it getting too much? Is this normal? Does it need more water? Or less? We water every week and don't put water on the leaves anymore, just the soil. Any advice is greatly appreciated! #succulent #succulents #echeveria #echeverias @succulentandfriends @succulentsplants @suerichards @alovealoe @teamgardentags @Garyg

It looks good to me. The leaves perking up are shading the inner leaves. Nothing to worry about. You may want to put a higher ratio of pumice to your soil since you live in high humidity.
Thank you so much! @alovealoe
I think they look good too ! They aren't stretching .When they etoliate looking for light the stem stretches and the leaves are further apart. This is not happening to yours. If the new leaves keep coming and they aren't burning then all is good.As @alovealoe said just beware the humidity and if the soil can dry out between waterings then ideal 😆
Thank you @Muzz67 I feel much better now!

You're welcome Amanda 😆 You have this one as lilacina ? It looks different to mine ?
@Muzz67 yea we think it is actually an echeveria difractens, but we really don't know for sure and that wasn't one of the options to choose from 🙈 Lilacina was just the closest we could find to match.

Some sort of #echeveria
Starting to bloom! Love how their flowers start off as mini versions of themselves
