This wounded warrior is the first large butterfly to enjoy the garden this year. I have lots of honeybees, mason bees, wasps, hummingbirds, hummingbird moths, little white butterflies etc. so many pollinators. But for some reason not seeing any large butterflies, swallowtails or monarches. I guess milkweed will have a year to really get established before being eating by caterpillars. Could be a plus.
