My iris has a couple buds forming
You might be happy✨✨I am also looking forward to opening these buds✾✾
My neighbour has just given me some an hour ago! I was just about to try and look it up when your post popped up! I love the foliage on it, and I love irises but my dogs dig them up and ate them in winter 😒
@karolinas I hope you have better luck with this one. This will be the first time blooming for me. I found it last year late in the season. I bought it because of the foliage.
Thanks Katie 🙂 even if it doesn’t it has an amazing foliage which will do me just fine 🙂

I found this Variegated leaf iris at the Meijer today. I don't normal see iris at this store. But I have not seen a Variegated leaf iris any where. Does any one know how common they are?
Wow
Gorgeous!!
this year I've seen some at Lowe's. My brother in law gave us one about 15 years ago, I love the variegated leaves in the garden.
@bluebees I haven't seen any at lowes around me.
@columbiariver love to see pic of it.
I had one but the critters got to the bulb. 😢
Stunning foliage never mind the flowers!
@ambitiouswolf in answer to your how common is this-- actually it's pretty common, the one great thing about the verigated iris (besides foliage) is they grow at a much slower rate than the others! Which is good if you don't want them taking over the place! I have one that looks like this and it has a med. Purple flower. I divided it for the first time in 12years , this year. You're gonna like it!!🖒💘😍
@ambitiouswolf in the UK they are very common, not sure about the US, your plant collection is beautiful by the way!
Thank you @scousermartin Last year was my first year doing any gardening. I think I became addicted 😁. Still a lot of work to do.
@ambitiouswolf , last year was my first year too, I have always rented property so never really bothered, but last year I managed to buy a place and felt more comfortable putting the money and effort in!, Loving it!!!
Never saw variegated ones. How cool!! And I’m glad you saw those I might of stepped on them 😊💕
