Not sure if this little lady is going to make it. It has been in a pot since last year. Took it out to plant into the ground. Seem the bulb might be rotting. He had one good root on it so planted it anyway to give it a chance. Hope it does ok. It is a very lovely iris.

Hope it makes it 😊 I lost two irises last year so only have one left.

I got another one of these to try. Think the one I got last year didn’t make it. Never bloomed. If it does come back I will have two 😁
They frequently won't bloom the first year planted. Maybe you'll have two next year. Good luck
@lesliecole49 I hope to have two. But the problem was all the leaves died on it in spring. So I’m not sure the bulb is any good. Or if it had leaves long enough for the bulb to store up energy.
Right, well, have you pulled it to look at it? You know you're supposed to plant the rizomes with its 'shoulder' above ground, don't you?
