It has about 7 more flowers developing. I was looking at the original pic I took when I planted the Iris. I noticed the tag was wrong. It can't be rare treat. Does anyone know the name of this iris?

I have one that is supposed to be "dangerous mood" or "midnight something" mine haven't flowered yet but the package looked like those

Wow! I see you are zone 6? Should bearded Iris be forming by now? I have some iris but they have never bloomed since I've had them. I don't know if they are too old, or what?

We moved our irises on the other side of the fence from our young boxer so they are very happy now.

@uaskigyrl. This is my first year with iris. I got them towards the end of summer last year. Do the leaves of the iris normally die back in the winter? Because this one didn't. The one next to it did. The one next to this iris is just now starting to develop the first flower. But it is a different type of iris.
