So I found this shrimp plant for 50% off. I have always wanted one. However it looks a little rough. It was the only one the store had and it was still sitting outside. The temp has gotten down into the 40s f at night here. So I think it has gotten to cold. Would appreciate any suggestions to help it out.

Doesn't hurt to cut this one back, looks like u have some new growth on bottom. Can over winger green in a sunny window or I let mine go dormant in a cool basement cut way back on water and will leaf out again in spring. Not sure what zone ur in.

@tinaaune I'm in zone 5 or 6. Depends on who you get your information from. It is pretty wet also. The store may have been over watering it for this time of the year.

Don't think its hardy for your zone but u better double check. I have to overwinters mine indoors way too cold in zone 3/4.

@tinaaune It is not hardy here. That is why most places here do not sell it. Tags says to bring inside before it hits 32f.
Giving the shrimp plant another try. Lost the last one. Think I watered it to much inside during the winter. Plus I bought the first one on clearance at the end of summer. This one looks healthier.
Wow! That's fabulous 👌
Very nice! I hope this one does well for you, Katie❤
