I really wish I knew why the names keep changing on my plants. This was candy crush phlox. And I think this is the third time it has been changed on here with out me changing it
I know this as #candycrushphlox too... 🍥🍬🍭 Let's check with @gardentagsplantsteam to see where this has gone, because this is NOT the moss phlox variety!
Thank you for the tag. I think @KariSamuel meant to say Candy Crush rather than Stripe 👍🏼. Apart from this current record (which has not been fully reviewed) I cannot find any history of any other plant record created for a phlox with the name Candy Crush. However, my list only goes back to 2019 so perhaps it was many moons ago? This current one needs to be reviewed yet and looks to have been created with typing errors by the original user - it should say Phlox paniculata 'Bambini Candy Crush'
However the user originally created it as just 'Bambini Crush' so missing the Candy. Apart from that spelling error in this record, this looks to be the correct plant you are still referring to. If however you believe it to be something else, please can you share a web link with me so that I can see what variety you are referring to.
The original user also has not completed the common name correctly, so it just says 'Phlox'. The variety is only showing in the Latin name part. We’ll update that too so that it shows the variety in both parts. It’s a common mistake made by many users who create plant records.

I think because it's a user generated encyclopaedia it has something to do with it. That flower is something else though. I love it.
