Haaa if I had any plums mine wld be full of 🐛 You need to be able to make jam & apple & plum pies too, which I can do neither.

The freeze well. Cut in half de-pit and freeze. Then can use in crumbles through the winter.

All I know is that Little Jack loved the odd plum or 2. 😃

OK you need 500g of plums stoned and roughly chopped and 400g sugar or jam sugar ( I've done it successfully with either) . Mix plums and sugar into a large Pyrex bowl. Cook for 6 mins in microwave then stir. Then do another 3 mins and stir again. Then keep repeating every 3 mins. It can take up to 15 mins but just test on a cold saucer to see if jam wrinkles every 3 mins. This batch took 12 mins. Then decant into sterilised jam jars and pop lids on. This makes 3 small jars 😊
