Allium 'Summer Drummer'

New to me so just bought one packet of 3. Should have bought more really but wanted to check on here if you would recommend them? Thanks #advice

Think these are the same as mine - huge but they do t sparkle - kinda like the flower bud on each individual stem doesn’t open... stays like the pic but doesn’t sparkle

Have a look at my plant list. I really liked thr flowers but the plant itself was really unsightly. It looked like a leek more than an ornamental plant. Would look better in a veg patch. I wouldn't put it in a flowerbed. Mine was really tall, at least 1.5m.

Thanks Urszula- yes, they're known for their unsightly foliage. I underplant with fleabane and cranesbill and it's not a problem then as they cover the foliage of the alliums 👍🙂 @ublaszko

You might need something taller to underplant these alliums 😄
