Very promising! My camellia is in a large pot but hasn’t flowered, not even the tiniest buds, the last few years. Looks like it will be the same again this time around. I wondered if I need to add fresh ericacious compost but would be difficult. I can’t put it into a larger pot...not sure I could find one! I put fresh compost on top each year and add coffee grounds through the year. Not sure what I can do? 🤷‍♀️

I keep mine well watered, mulched and feed it fertiliser for ericaceous plants in the Spring. @italydiva

I shall definitely try that Ange. How often do you add the liquid fertiliser? What do you tend to mulch with?

I just leave any fallen camellia leaves and top with recycled compost. I feed before they start flowering. They make their buds in summer time I believe so that's why they need plenty of water, especially in pots I suppose. You could mulch with bark too 🙂 @italydiva
