Inspired by Carol Klein on Life in a Cottage Garden to grow these. They'll look great in the border under the Willow - next year! Sow April #notmyphoto Sowed 25th April 2022

I've got purple ones but no white - they'll stand out better in the shade. I've lost count how many times I've watched Life in a cottage garden! I liked her channel 5 shows too @Auricula

Me too I just like her down to earth (excuse the pun) attitude. I love the white ones but find them hard to grow 🤞🏻for these.

Ooh I've never tried growing the white ones before. I didn't know they could be tricky 🤓🤍 @Auricula

I grew some white ones from seed and sold them at our charity plant A lady bought all 12!

At work, the white ones are the only ones allowed to stay in the ground! Any purple ones I have to pull out as soon as the buds open. They do like nice though, and we let them seed all around. Will yours have markings in the throat or are they pure white?

Unfortunately no desire for them in any of the borders. The colour can sometimes be a slight clash with some of the other plants we have flowering at the same time @KOutdoors - as foxgloves self seed very freely the problem is you have to let them all grow until they flower as there is no way to no for sure which colour they are going to open as 🥴

Looking at the photo on the seed packet they're pure white, no markings. @richard.spicer.7906

@richard.spicer.7906 Carol Klein says if they have a darker vein on the back of the leaf it’s purple if it’s paler than the leaf it’s white. I’ve looked at mine and I think she’s right?
