That's even odder Ange, most roses love some sun but you must have heavy clay soil and a bright spot for it @anges

It gets sun til noon but the soil is more sandy, not clay at all 🤷‍♀️ it's a tough old thing - been here longer than we have - 23 years or more 👍 @jpea

Peace roses in January, amazing. I can't wait to see mine, it was fabulous last year. Hopefully I might get two roses from it this year, we shall see 💛💛

Wow, your one must be getting a lot of sunshine. My one never gets this pink 💕 It just gets pink around the edges but quite soft pink.

It's on a North facing wall - there are usually yellowish ones aswell. I will post when they flower 💛 No filter on this btw ☺

@gjones Hi Katie, thanks. They do look fresh, I like that!! 😀 The actual plant has been here longer than us, so 22 years + Pretty sure it was planted after WW2, because of its name and previous homeowner was an ex-serviceman. Tough little plant, that's why I like it so much 💛🌹💛
