Grown from seed - would recommend as they are straightforward and give lots of colour βΊ 5.8.19

A #collage of some of the #zinnia I have grown from seed for the first time β€ππ 21.7.19

Morning Ange, that's a pretty collection πββοΈπββοΈ

Morning Jeremy, thanks very much. They're easy to grow and I like the variety of colours in this mix. They were free seeds from a magazine ππ β€πππ @jpea

I've grown or rather tried to grow them but the slimers had virtually everyone π @anges

π¬π¬π¬ not good! @jpea

They're lovely Ange ππ

Thanks very much Jane, pleased with them βΊ @pelly

I grew some from seed last year and this year, it'll now be ob e of those plants I can't imagine summer without π

Yes agreed, apparently they grew these on the International Space Station so I thought I should be able to grow them on earth! π @angiecrazycatlady

These are lovely Ange. π

Thanks Sue βΊ @lilybee π

23rd March 2019, 1 week after sowing π±

Wow! Looking good

Thanks Belinda, haven't grown Zinnias before so was pleasantly surprised βΊ @belindah

I'm growing them for the first time too.... seeing yours then I think I should have spread mine out a bit moreπ€

You can just thin them out a bit when you need to - it'll be fine. It said on the packet to put 2 seeds per module and thin out the weaker seedling but I'll probably just pot it up tbh βΊ

Yes. Mine are about one third the size of yours so I'll thin them out when they're bigger. I look forward to comparing notes with you!πππ

Yes it will be interesting to see πππ±

Seeds sown 16th March 2019.

Morning Ange, Love these I must sow mine soon π

I've never grown these before - trying new things this time round βΊ @angiecrazycatlady

Me too lol

New to growing Zinnias here too. I just showed 8 varieties for an all in zinnia cutting garden! The California giants and the lime greens have germinated so far, the rest are still sleepy.

The lime green sound interesting πβΊ @carrotstick

Thanks, first time growing these from seed and glad I did now - lots of different colours ππ @kez001uk
@anges Iβd never grown zinnias til this year either but wish Iβd discovered them sooner! Theyβre incredible! The colours, longevity, variety - canβt beat them π
