@tiggrx Been out all day but surprised to find that what I have always believed was Spring Snowflake is in fact an Allium. I have a summer snowflake which is considerably taller. Have to say there are always very few of these flowers in the wooded border.I've alway to search for them. Yesterday I only found 3. I've checked your link&agree but I'm loath to take it out as so far it hasn't bothered me.I may live to regret this decision. Thanks anyway. Will change name. It's a sweet little flower

Leucojum estivum! I neeeeeed those in my garden. :)
That's not a Snowflake, it's Allium paradoxum - a highly invasive pest! Those little bulbs at the top of the stalk easily fall off spreading it about.
