Clematis Armandii Snowdrift planted last year. Has had a difficult first winter even though it was mild. Planted in front of south facing 10ft wall with greenhouse shelter on other side. The state it's in makes me think it's not entirely hardy up North. There's life there so some TLC & fleece coat next winter.
Mine been same over winter
Mine also got some brown leaves but it's flowering now ! Will post pic later
