This is # Chrysler Imperial climbing rose growing over the 10ft high south facing wall. I have sent many sympathy cards over the years featuring this poem. It's got such a deep meaning especially to a gardener. Thought I would share it with you as the rose growing over my wall always reminds me of it. 🌹

That poem was on the card I recently gave to my sister. Her hubby loved roses. Sad but lovely ❤️
@sue1953 It's a small world. It's only a few weeks since I said to you that your brother in law was too young to pass away. I always try to keep a few sympathy cards in the house because there always seems to be someone in sorrow. I try to search out ones with this verse as I've always loved it since I first came across it over 20 yrs ago when my mum died. It meant a lot to me then & still does.
