Unexpected blooming of #gazania at 43°C or 110°F, it's really surprising for me, generally it blooms at 20°C - 30°C.

@balakrishnan you may grow it only in winter season, you may shop it from nursery, no need much care, only soil must be moist.

Ankur, Gazania are drought tolerant hence reduce watering im winters and regular watering during Spring Summers. Remove spent blooms soon for next set of blooms to appear. Fertilize with phosphorus high fertilizer for more blooms to happen #advice

Give it a lot of sun and no worries 😊

You can split them now if you have a big bunch loads of babies when you dig them up, plant where you want them to go, leave foliage on over winter to protect roots and thin in spring, but dead head down to stem, I've had mine in 4 years now and all over garden and I've give loads away they get bushier each year so no need to do again from seed 👍😊

Or you can leave in over winter and split early spring after frost 😊
