Polianthes tuberosa

The smell of #tuberose is like an explosive bouquet of #whiteflowers. It gives the #olfactive illusion of different flowers like: #gardenia #frangipani #tiarella, I am enjoying its #fragrance just outside my bedroom

@ankur1406 : My 2 pots of tuberose are all leaves and no buds yet. Should I apply phosphate or potash? Do not like to add inorganic ferts but the season is running out.

I never used potash, I suggest to wait for next season. @brightcolours please suggest @somnathsarkar

How long did they take to bloom? My two pots sprouted in March. Now they are full of leaves but no budding yet. They say they bloom around July in Kolkata but I am getting impatient.

@somnathsarkar yes it blooms in July, I have this plant from last 2 years, but blooms first time within duration

#tuberoses buds are growing slowly, I hope sweet fragrance in my garden soon. It's local name is #rajnigandha
