Is this the pretty one with peach colored flowers? I've only seen it on Gtags. What we have is considered a horrible weed, in fields, pastures and yards. I love it though in pots or containers!

@shruti it's summer bloomer. I know two names only Purslane & Portulaca

@purplebird - The common purslane here is considered an obnoxious plant, due to its rapid growth, spreading and difficulty in removing it where it isn't wanted. People forage for it, like they do mushrooms or dandelion greens... I don't know of any store that sells it as food.

@KariSamuel It may be some different variety of purslane, but here it never grows like weed.
