Calathea roseopicta 'Dottie'. Rescued this tropical beauty off the reduced 'neglected' table. Trimmed sun damaged leaves and put the plant in my shaded 'recovery ward'. Calatheas are tropical plants accustomed to the warm, humid jungles of Brazil. 'Dottie has beautiful pink markings on the edge and centre vein of the leaf with deep red colouring on the underside. An exotic and decorative foliage plant needing protection from sun, warmth and humidity. #calathea #calathea-dottie
