Love colour, nature, growing fresh herbs and vegies to eat; and flowers for my floral arrangements. Small garden in sub tropics of SE Queensland.

Tropical Cymbidium 'The Brightest'. Three spikes and 35 blooms. Specially bred for tropical conditions. Will flower consistently in Queensland. A larger flower than the traditional native tropical cymbidium #orchid #orchid-tropicalcymbidium

Tropical Cymbidium. Very special orchid as Cymbidiums are easier to grow in the cooler, Southern States. This one has been specially bred for the subtropics and is larger than the petite Cymbidium native to Qld. Another orchid bursting its pot and deserves a special position on my front patio. #orchid #orchid-tropicalcymbidium

Tropical Cymbidium 'The Brightest'. True Tropical Cymbidium, locally cultivated on Sunshine Coast of Qld. As yet, the colours of this new variety which is suited to Qld heat, are yellow and pale lime. On the queue, anxiously waiting for the lime. #orchid #orchid-thebrightest
