Beautiful! I prefer the orange ones over the yellow. They grow in my lawn as weed and i pick them and plant them as the side garden bed. I think they are considered weeds in nsw, yet the council plants them everywhere.

@ZaraZee Very interesting. I had no idea they had made it on to the 'weed' list. I am guilty too of rescuing the strays from the footpath borders and putting them in my garden. 😯

Beautiful. I have planted a few. One of them has multiple blooms. But they won't open these days. Do they open only when sunlight falls on them?

Gazinea mixed. White centre flower grown from seed collected from stray flower along neighbourhood pathway. Others, self seeded from 'good bug mix' seeds plus various Bunnings purchases. Hoping they multiply enough to fill a couple of square metres with their surprising blooms. Will be my 'Blooms of Many Colours' patch. Hardy, carefree, drought tolerant, colourful.
