Grevillea 'Dorothy Gordon'. Silver keaf shrub is covered in these pretty mauve flowers. Unusual colouring makes this #oznative one of my favourite #grevillea #grevillea-dorothygordon #ausnative-flower

Love the unusual purple/pink flowers with silver grey leaves of this Grevillea. Birds love the flowers too. Will grow to 3 metres creating a beautiful view of flowers and noisy birds. #grevillea #oznative #oznative-flower #grevillea-dorothygordon https://malleedesign.com.au/the-grevillea-screen-that-could-grevillea-dorothy-gordon/

That's lovely. How do you protect it overwinter?

@DeborahBanks Thank you Deborah. My garden is in subtropics, on the Coast, in SE Queensland. Today's mid-Winter temp is 15C/59F. The evenings are chillier, but we do not get frost and so no need to give winter protection. This Grevillea will grow to 3mt/10ft and will tolerate light frost. 🐝

@Annettenoosa how envious I am by the idea of no frost. I think I need to emigrate 😊

@DeborahBanks Make sure you come to coastal Qld as the mountain areas and southern States get frost. Gets pretty hot in summer though. 😎🙃

Always full of visiting parrots and nectar living birds.
