Grevillea really throwing out the blooms. This has been the best Winter for my garden. Everything is blooming as if it is Spring and there has been an unusual blessing of rain. The birds are spoilt for choice of nectar rich blooms. #ausnative #ausnative-flower #grevillea #grevillea-peachesandcream
Thank you @alif The flower is an Australian native. We are lucky to have so many unusual flowers unique to this country. 🐨

Grevillea 'Peaches and Cream'. Beauty from Iz native flower. Lucky to capture this one before the Noisy Prior bird makes a meal of it. Birds love the nectar from these flowers. #grevillea-peachesandcream #grevillea #oznative #oznative-flower

Grevillea 'Peaches and Cream. Still beautiful after a week of flowering and picked at by the birds after the nectar. #oznative #oznative-flower #grevillea-peachesandcream #grevillea
So pretty. 💖
They look similar in formation to "Golden penda" , but colour us different, appearing beauty 💐👌
@bks these pictured flowers do look similar because the birds have eaten the cylindrical end off the flower and changed the shape. If you have a look at #grevillea-peachesandcream you will see examples of the true flower shape. Still pretty though, despite the birds making a meal of it. 🦜😊
So beautiful 😍 now I know what my Mount Tamboritha grevillea will look like when its flowers eventually open 😂 strange that they flower at the same time in our vastly different temperatures 🤔
@kez001uk the flowering season here will be longer with them flowering non stop from Summer through Winter. The Mount Tamboritha Grevillea is a different type of Grevillea with a smaller a flower
@kez001uk the flowering season here will be longer with them flowering non stop from Summer through Winter. The Mount Tamboritha Grevillea is a different type of Grevillea with a smaller flower. Very pretty, I am sure you will be pleased with the unusual shape. Love to see the flower when it blooms for you. 🐨
@Annettenoosa never expected they’d flower for such a long period. They’re so beautiful, and look delicate but much be quite robust to last so long. I have another 2 varieties that look more like this plant, upright with spiked foliage/needles. They’re not showing any signs of flowering though 😜
@kez001uk They are tough and hardy here. Grow to 15ft and great because they withstand wind, heat, drought and grow in the worst soil. The variety with the needle type leaves are a much smaller, compact little bush.
@Annettenoosa good to know they can tolerate some pretty awful conditions. Think we expect Australian plants to need the heat 😂 thank you for the information you give in your posts 🙏🏻

Grevillea 'Peaches and Cream'. Bloom starts as lemon/lime and changes within a few days to two tone, peach and cream colours. Honey eating birds love these flowers. #grevillea #oznative #oznative-flower #grevillea-peachesandcream
That is beautiful 😍 since I bought a few of these I keep seeing them everywhere 😂 had never heard of them before 🤣

Today's garden surprise. Grevillea with another bud on the way. Young bush that will grow to 1.5 metres and bring the birds and bees into the garden. #grevillea #grevillea-peachesandcream #oznative #oznative-flower
Wow so beautiful 😍
Thank you @jyotu
Wowzers this is fantastic, so beautiful 😍
There so pretty I've never seen this colour
Wonderful plant - don’t think that would grow in Scotland 🏴!
@carolgs the base of the flower will turn peach colour as it ages. Tagged you in today's post
@burgess it might curl its toes up in a Scottish winter. 🙃

Grevillea 'Peaches and Cream'. Originally incorrectly listed this as 'Coconut Ice'; hope dictionary accepts correction this time. Easy care shrub with beautiful shaped flower of yellow with hint of lime and peach pink. Tips of leaves turn bronze in autumn. Cross between Qld and West Au, Oz natives. Parrots love these flowers, so do I. #oznative #oznative-flower #grevillea-peachesandcream #grevillea #springisintheair
