Hibiscus 'Butterball'. Originally grown for me from cutting taken from my mother's garden where she planted it in 1954; cutting taken from my shrub when I moved a few years ago is now happily blooming in its new home. #hibiscus #hibiscus-butterball

Hibiscus, double yellow. Perfect warm and wet conditions for beautiful blooms. Grown from cutting from my previous garden. Original from my mother's garden. #hibiscus #yellow #hibiscus-yellow

Hibiscus. This Hibiscus originally came from my mother's garden where she grew it in the 1950s. I am grateful to a kind neighbour who struck a cutting for me when I moved from my previous garden. The shrub grew in my previous garden for 25 years. It is a very old variety. I will have to take some more cuttings and get in touch with the Hibiscus Society for proper identification. #hibiscus
