@midnightgardener Thank you Anne. This is definitely my best bloomer. It is right at my back door to delight me every morning with huge flowers in bright sunny flowers.

@alan1111 Pruning time is a bit of a juggling act with the seasons. I think the reason for unusual burst of flowers is due to some regular evening rainfall that is regenerating the shrub. I like to prune late Autumn (now) so there is a bit of new leaf growth to harden off over our frost free Winter. Recommended time to prune is late Winter, but I find new growth is too tender and burns in our hot Spring days; then the shrub struggles to recover through Summer, instead of blooming. 🐨

@midnightgardener Chris (not Anne) thank you. Hibiscus flower on new growth so those Spring shoots should produce Summer flowers for you. They like a warm sunny spot and protection from Winter frost. I am in a warm, subtropical climate so my tropical Hibiscus are growing in ideal conditions. I have put a link to feeding that might help.
