Hibiscus 'Moonraker'. Double delight and more huge flowers enjoying the last of Autumn. #hibiscus #hibiscus-moonraker #autumnblooms
Beautiful colours 🧡🤍🧡
Very pretty huge flowers 😍
Love the orange and white 😍😍
Beautiful 👍
Stunningly beautiful 🧡
So lovely 🧡🧡
@suerichards @kaporyash @sherrisgarden Thank you. The colours are softer now the weather is cooler. Summer colours have contrasting splashes of hot golden orange. The shrub is growing tall too and looks very dramatic with so many large blooms.
@midnightgardener @Krugman Thank you. This shrub is certainly putting on an eye catching show with so many large blooms.

Tropical Hibiscus 'Moonraker'. Obviously not feeling the cold and with over 40 buds to open, unaware she should be slowing down for Winter, so she can have a prune, instead of putting on her best show of the year. It is delightful though to have such big, bold, blooms defying the oncoming Winter chill. #hibiscus #hibiscus-moonraker #autumnblooms
Looks good. I had my huge bush chopped down by my gardener in the winter and I almost cried, but it’s late spring here and it’s coming back like a rocket. 🤩
Winter, after threat of frost, is ideal time to prune. Flowers grow on new growth. Gardeners can be heavy handed. I try to prune end of Autumn as late Winter prune here in subtropics, where Spring can be hot, can result in new growth being burnt. I also favour to prune a branch each month so the shrub continues to bloom. Last Summer was too hot to cut back on plants that were already heat and drought stressed so they missed their annual groom. Just have to go with nature.
Good to know, thanks Annette. 🙂

Amazing! 😊😊🧡🧡
It’s gorgeous and has a defiant mind, sounds like a great personality 🤣 Enjoy the flowers I love these and thanks for the load of pruning tips, I have a few hibiscus which always need pruning by the end of the summer 💚💚

Hibiscus 'Moonraker'. Wearing her winter colours without the splashes of hot molten gold. The shape is a bit odd, something might have attempted a scultural munch. Covered in buds so she will bloom all through Winter. #hibuscus #hibiscus-moonraker
Fabulous 🧡🧡
Still beautiful 😊😊🧡🧡🧡
Wow. That is a nice shot of this flower especially with the water droplets ❤
Lovely blooms 🤠

Hibiscus 'Moonraker'. Dinner plate size flower with colour of rich apricot, sprinkled with dots of gold on the fluted edges. Centre is a white starburst edged with soft pink. A tall growing Hibiscus with continuous flowering for nine months of the year. #hibiscus #hibiscus-moonraker

Absolutely gorgeous 😍
Amazing flower and that colour is fab 🧡🧡♥️
@suerichards @solly1961 @ausgardentags @alan1111 @midnightgardener Thank you for your support. It is interesting seeing these flowers now in Winter when their colours are deeper and warmer. This flower will have definite spots of gold on petal edges in Summer. The centre colour will be much lighter than this lovely pink toned orange. 🐨
Beautiful shade👌
