Hibiscus 'Mrs Andreasen'. Two different colour flowers from the one plant. One of the delights of Mrs Andreasen is that you never know what colour her blooms will be. Monday it was Pink, Wednesday it is apricot, Friday it might be a mix of both colours. Well, here is Mrs Andreasen wearing another new colour. I can see the next buds will be tones of deep caramel. She has never produced her true colour which is an even 50/50 split of one side of the flower is strawberry, the other, peach. Her nonconformist, unconventional, defiant nature delights me though, with textured double flowers, always blooming and covering the large shrub. #hibiscus #hibiscus-mrsandreasen #wintercolour

@akshat This hibiscus produces a different colour every time it blooms (and none of them are the dual colours she is supposed to be). I will have to put together a collage of the different colours she wears.

Well here is 'Mrs Andreason' fully bloomed from yesterday. She has not produced the hoped for true 50/50 colour split. Nevertheless, she makes up for breaking the colour rule by covering the bush with year round blooms and she is still beautiful. #hibiscus #hibiscus-mrsandreasen

@jeatacake the colouring is supposed to be two distinct shades on left and right of flower. Deep pink on one side and apricot on the other. Even though this one is not quite right, I still love it and the bush gets covered in blooms. I will get another one when I see a plant with the correct flower, then I will have two different lovelies with the same name. 😁

I guess that different flowers on the same plant will vary a little from flower to flower. You may well get some as described, but as you day, still very beautiful and I'd be after more too! 😁

Hibiscus 'Mrs Andreasen. Flower looking a better shape than last year. Still has not fully developed the dual colours of pink and gold but I can see them coming, certainly looking better. Hibiscus 'Mrs Andreasen'. Was starting to think about an early prune of my Hibiscus as the hot, dry summer did not produce many blooms. They are making a late, autumn, flower show. Hibiscus 'Mrs Andreasen'. This beautiful flower is a bunch of flowers all by itself. Pinky apricot tones. Recent purchase from Hibiscus Spectacular. This plant produces two toned flowers, one side pink the other apricot. So far, the plant has produced five flowers, each one different, which is true to her nature. Really happy to have Mrs Andreasen again as I had to leave her in my previous garden when I relocated. One of my favourite hibiscus. #hibiscus #hibiscus-mrsandreasen
