Hippeastrum time again. Did a reorganisation transplant of my bulbs last year. Thought I had lost some, but they all seem to be popping their heads up. Have to mark their homes now so I know where the bulbs are when they drop their leaves and disappear for Winter. Meantime, they are looking beautiful. Now I know I have not lost any, I can look forward to the bulbs multiplying and having masses of flowers. #hippeastrum #hippeastrum-thebellinger

They're such a stunning flower. Really like this color. I put some baby bulbs in the ground (as an experiment) last fall and they grew this year but no flowers. They look fairly good so I'm hoping maybe next year

@lesliecole49 if they were baby bulbs, they might need to grow a bit before flowering. Do not plant the bulbs too deeply. It is a bulb that likes to have a little bit of the top of the bulb showing above ground.

Hippeastrum 'Milady'. 4th plant to bloom. Big, eye catching magenta pink bloom. This one has a second flower emerging from the same bulb. #hippeastrum #hippeastrum-milady
