Hosta 'Fragrant Blue'. This was a little mystery plant that emerged from a pot in the plant graveyard. Then I remembered it was purchased when I was in the mountains where the air is cooler and plants like this grow well. The plant had not died, just doing its thing of going dormant. Now it is under shade and seems to be doing well. Love the beautiful blue tone to the leaves. #hosta #hosta-fragrantblue

Hosta 'Fragrant Blue'. Posted a pic of this plant a few days ago. Managed to solve the mystery of what it was that suddenly rose from the dead in my potplant graveyard. Hosta generally need a cooler climate than my garden. This one is supposed to take the heat. Maybe it decided to hibernate for Winter. 🤔 Will have to keep an eye on it now to learn its behaviour. #hosta #hosta-fragrantblue

Hostas take the heat very well where I live, as well as the harsh freezes. However, if I recall you’re sub-tropic, so thats a very different heat. (Though we have our near tropic days!) Best of luck with the little fighter!

Hosta 'Fragrant Blue'. Challenge 2. Another cool climate beauty I so admire in the English gardens. Have to put it with my English Violet. The silver leaf and blue flower of Hosta will compliment the darker green leaves and deep purple of the Violet. Have to grow them in my shady spot and create enough shade to defy the summer heat. #hosta #tropical-jungle
